Generally, PASEC results are very low within the countries of the Lake Chad basin and Cameroon is not left out. We realized that our educational system prioritizes rote learning i.e. theory over practice and this does not help the learners as they are often found wanting in the job market. Peer-assisted instruction is one of those instructions that positively affects academic achievement.
